BIO

Chris Austen is an award winning filmmaker, writer and director with experience in short films and commercial video projects. His most recent short film 33 Floors has been awarded ‘Best Sci-Fi Film’ at the Los Angeles Film Awards and Hollywood Blvd Film Festivals.

Chris graduated from the Los Angeles Film School in 2006 before finding his first industry job as a documentary filmmaker. In 2012 Chris founded CFCreation where he spent almost a decade creating corporate and commercial film projects for national and international brands. Chris's work has featured on regional and national television in the UK and throughout, Europe, America and Asia. In 2021 Chris co-founded QBIC films, a video production company which helps organisations to strengthen their brands though the production of engaging, high quality video messaging.

In 2022 Chris launched the filmmakers blog which exists to inspire filmmakers and help them to push forward with their film projects. Chris is currently in pre production of his next film project 'Unreality'.
