ABOUT
Chris Austen is an award winning filmmaker, photographer, writer and director with experience in short films and commercial video projects. His most recent short film 33 Floors has been awarded ‘Best Sci-Fi Film’ at the Los Angeles Film Awards and Hollywood Blvd Film Festivals.
Chris graduated from the Los Angeles Film School in 2006 before landing his first industry job as a documentary filmmaker. In 2012, Chris founded CFCreation, where he spent almost a decade creating corporate and commercial film projects for national and international brands. Chris's work has featured on regional and national television in the UK and throughout Europe, America and Asia. In 2021, Chris co-founded QBIC films, a video production company that helps organisations to strengthen their brands through the production of engaging, high-quality video messaging.
Chris has an MA in Creative Writing from Teesside University and is currently in pre-production of his next film project, 'Unreality'.
